RE: Any reason NOT to buy a 2005 Fleetwood Yuma?

Don't worry about the middle seam until someone who dosen't know how puts an air conditioner on it. Yes it's 2 pieces, but sealing those 2 together is one thing that Coleman figured out how to do right a long time ago.
So no worries if it appears to be currently in good shape? I have no need in our climate to ever install a/c. Is the roof on the 2005 Fleetwood Yuma the Alumicote roof (as opposed to the ABS)? I didn't look real close at anything but the vinyl strip covering the seam and its a bit far to go back now unless I'm buying. Thanks much!

RE: Bad Fleetwood roof selling on Ebay

Is the roof on a 2005 Fleetwood Yuma the Alumicote roof or the ABS? Thanks!

Any reason NOT to buy a 2005 Fleetwood Yuma?

Looking at a 2005 Fleetwood Yuma that appears to have been lightly used. Anything to be concerned about? The roof has a (factory installed) vinyl strip down the middle, is that because the roof material is two pieces? Is that a leak issue? Thanks for any and all feedback.:@

RE: 25 Dollar Parking Ticket

Jim,
In my humble opinion you were clearly not in violation as the sign does not specify that RV's (as defined) MUST park ONLY in those signed spots, it states unequivocally that ONLY RV's may park in those signed spots. I call Bulls@t on this one.
Too bad going to court was not a convenient option as you were blatantly wronged my friend.
Next time go a bit further south, Manzanita is a nicer less crowded venue and you would not be ticketed in such an unfair fashion.

RE: From 5er to PUP??

You my friend are a PRIME candidate for a CHALET. I've owned a PUP and my next RV purchase will be a Chalet. Store it in the garage, it's up in less than 5 minutes, no canvas to deal with and they are cozy to boot with all the comforts of a motorhome. The tradeoff is SPACE, you'll give some up but it might be worth it. Check out their website. See what you think. They are a bit spendy (in my mind anyway)but as someone else pointed out in a prior post, you'll recoup that in lesser fuel expenses in due time. Good luck!
